Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the CrystalBox website, browser extension, account services, and optional paid features.

1. Using CrystalBox

You may use CrystalBox only in compliance with applicable law and the rules of the websites where you use the extension. You are responsible for the memory content, links, exported backups, and AI prompts you save or inject.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information, protect your login credentials, and promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Local and cloud features

Local Only features are provided without requiring cloud synchronization. Selective Sync, Cloud First, Memory History, Conflict Review, and device limits may depend on an eligible paid plan. Feature limits may be described on the Pricing page.

4. Subscriptions and renewal

Paid subscriptions renew according to the billing period selected at checkout unless canceled before renewal. Prices, taxes, and renewal details will be shown before purchase. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals; it does not automatically create a refund.

5. Refunds

Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use CrystalBox to violate law, infringe intellectual property rights, distribute malware, disrupt services, bypass access controls, or attempt unauthorized access to another person's account or data.

7. AI output disclaimer

CrystalBox helps organize and inject context. It does not control third-party AI services or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, safety, or suitability of AI-generated output. Review important AI output independently.

8. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes affecting paid features.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CrystalBox is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss caused by third-party websites, AI services, device failure, browser storage deletion, or insecure backup handling.

10. Termination

You may stop using CrystalBox at any time. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, or address a material violation of these Terms.
